This cache is hidden in a statue dedicated to Fr. Horan, who campaigned to have an airport built near to Knock shrine in order to facilitate the thousands of people who visit here every year. It is both fitting and ironic that Fr Horan was on the inaugral flight out of Knock and when he died a few months later while in Rome, his was the first coffin to be brought back to Ireland through this airport.
The statue and cache are a long way outside the airport perimiter, so you shouldn't look too suspicious. The cache is 3 inch black cannister containing logs and a swappable. BYOP
