Geocache Description:

Geocachers are the nicest people. I've had the pleasure of meeting
many cachers, on the trail, on line, at events ... So I thought it
would be fun to place a series of caches based on some of the
cachers I've met since I started playing this game.

2nd Time Around was the very first geocacher that I met while searching for a cache. It was New Years Eve, 2009, just a month and a half after I started caching. I had noticed a new cache publication for a puzzle cache, that required finding 4 other caches to retrieve coordinates for the final. I had found three of the four caches, and was searching for the fourth one, when 2TA came walking down the trail. At first he commented that it was a nice day for a walk, then he confessed to knowing what I was up to, and that he was doing the same thing. He'd already found all four of the caches, but at the time that he found them they didn't contain the clues to the new cache. After finding out that I had three of the four numbers needed for the final, he proposed a deal. I share the numbers I had found with him, and he would show me where the fourth cache was. Then we'd go get the FTF together. I agreed, and he produced the cache in short order. We plugged the coords for the final into our GPSr's and headed for the final. After searching for a while, we decided that something was wong, and we both went home and logged DNF's on the cache. Turns out that the CO had made a mistake, and sent us a mile away from the cache.

I've bumped into 2TA a few other times on the trail, including the West Bend Cache Bash in 2010, when he was with the other half of his team, his fiance. I was hoping to run into them at the 2011 Cache Bash, but it turns out that they were getting married that weekend. So I'm dedicating this cache to team 2nd Time Around. Congratulations on your marriage.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
And congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. 2nd time around for the FTF on this cache.
