We strongly suggest to do your homework before going for this interesting and rewarding Geocaching adventure!
We recommend walking the "Red Arrow" regularly - especially in the cool morning hours. It does not only help improve your overall fitness because you will probably be lucky and see some local wildlife.
Most likely you will encounter a SCRUB TÜRKEY. These birds are photogenic and not shy at all. Like scrub hens they belong to the Megapode family.
Watching even more wildlife and enjoying great views down to the airport and Cairns CBD you'll certainly feel tempted to extend your exploration to the "Blue Arrow".
Just in case you are still interested after your fitness walk in finding the hidden treasure you might move as the SCRUB TÜRKEY flies (roughly ½ km to its mound, see left)* into the direction of

You will come to the longitude of
