Give ParkerPlus a Hand Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

jklGoDuke: This cache has had a really good run, but the cache container has gone missing, so I think it's time for the cache to be archived. Thanks to ParkerPlus, first finder HorseGeeks, and all of the myriad geocachers who have found this over its fourteen year lifespan!

Geocache Description:

This micro was created in Houston TX by ParkerPlus but placed in Durham near some interesting artwork.

Over Christmas break 2004 my family was fortunate enough to attend the White Elephant Exchange geocaching event in Houston, TX. There, we met ParkerPlus and many other cachers, and they made us most welcome. ParkerPlus gave me this ready-to-go micro, and asked me to place it somewhere interesting back home.

Near this cache is a strip mall which has some of the ugliest parking and traffic snarls in Durham. Most people are so busy growling at the traffic that they don't notice the lovely little park at the edge of the property, complete with a sunken pond, a number of benches, and an interesting sculpture. The micro is located in this area, which is part of the strip mall complex. Parking is quite close and the area is remarkably unpopulated given how many people shop nearby. It still pays to be discreet!
