The Richmond Green skate trail is a fun spot for families and a great spot for an event: it is well-lit with ambient music, perfect for night skating at the end of a long week. It's great for both new and experienced skaters: with it being a trail vs a rink. Yes, support frames for kids are permitted! From the parking, head up the walkway and meet at the covered entrance to the skate trail. There are washrooms in the nearby arena if needed. Please note: helmets for children are required by Richmond Hill Parks and Rec to participate in the skate on the trail. Not into skating or a non-skater? No worries, there are picnic tables for sitting and sipping hot chocolate and/or coffee, or catching photos of skaters in action (upright or otherwise).
