Ode to the Race
Down the trail my GPS leads me,
Down the trail I hastily go.
Accuracy is good, the distance shortens;
First to Find is mine for all I know.
Heavy feet drag but I force them onward,
Down the path I steadily sway.
Each laboured breath is scarcely noticed;
First to Find is my goal today.
Drawing near now, my senses tingle.
Clearing my mind, I look around.
Could that moss actually be some camo?
And those stones, are they... oh no! A sound!
Dejectedly I see CasheKicker signing the log; that 60CSX sure pays.
First to Find is gone this time... but tomorrow's another day!
