This cache is situated by the side of the road so be careful and use the grass verge to get to the location. It is fairly easy to get to the cache on foot and there is some parking nearby in a layby within about 250m.
There is no climbing involved the road is flat however it does have a 50mph speed limit so be very careful making your way to the cache.
A nanocache containing a small log is all you'll find here so bring a pencil with you, the location is close to the Pennine Bridleway and Chapel Gate tracks so ideal for a quick detour for hikers coming to the area.
Car parking is available but may be full on busy days, this can be found near the Sheffield Road/Pennine Bridleway crossroads.
This cache is suuitable for drivers, cyclists and walkers however it is not really appropriate for young children, push chiairs and the like.
WHy not carry on your trip into the Hope valley and grab the other Miles Away caches on your journey and see the impressive Mam Tor.
