"J" from the JREnarson caching team will be in Vancouver for work in late May / early June. He'll be flying back to Edmonton later in the day on Saturday, June 3rd. He figured he'd use the opportunity to host an event in the morning and meet some of the local cachers.
Stanley Park seems like a pretty logical place to meet up, and Prospect Point seems to be a good spot within the park. There's lots of parking nearby, plus the area is pretty accessible by bike or by foot.
The main purpose of the event is to get together and say "hi", plus do a little sightseeing. Looks like there's a nearby café where people can grab coffee or baked goods, if they so choose. As an optional component following the event, there are a couple of nearby geocaches that "J" is hoping to grab after the event if anyone is interested in joining him.
There will be a log book at the event for people to sign if they wish, plus we can use the event to discover and exchange TBs if people would like. If people have TBs that need to head west (at least as far as Edmonton), "J" would be happy to take them along with him. Hope to you there!
