Geocache Description:

Fun, fast family cache in an area with interesting history.

To visit this location properly, it is suggested that you see a butterfly, ride a carousel, and take a walk thru time. To miss out due to a "lack of time" would be a shame.

This is another cache that the kids will like so bring them along. If you don't have kids you can borrow some of mine (These are not MY kids, just happy cachers).

Park at the gate. Any time I have been here the gate has been open but the sign said that on some occasions, the gate might be closed. If the gate is closed, there is a dog walking route posted on the gate. This should take you back to the proper area also.

Anyway, As you proceed up the road, keep a watchful eye on the guard cow. I hear that they could be quite nasty this time of year. (UPDATE: the ailing guard cow has passed on to greener pastures).

This is another very easy cache designed to give you a reason to go to someplace neat. We will make you work some other time! Hope you enjoy.

NOTES FROM A HAPPY VISITOR, Many thanks to the Cinci Cachers for the comments., Glenn & JoA

This was a FUN one for the entire family! As the website says, it is imperative that you see a butterfly, ride a carousel, and take a walk through time. And we did just that! This was a wonderful park full of things to do! It had a really neat butterfly "zoo" and the carousel was the best looking one I had ever seen! I did get lost though because I though the cache was actually IN the "walk through time" part but it ended up being on the other side of the park. After passing the much talked about "Guard Cow" and paying my respects to Freddy (he was dead!) I found the cache where I left a magnet and took the traveling frog. Goes without saying, this was my 4 year olds favorite cache in St. Louis!

Please make sure the lid is on tightly.

This is Freddie resting.

10.8.2013 The change of seasons brings about a new theme. A new larger container will be filled with Halloween goodies. Watch for a "new container" log in the next day or two.
