Geocache Description:

It is located not far off a county road. Beware of poison ivy and various pointy types of plant life. May be muddy for a few days after rain. Its a short walk and parking beside the road should not be a problem. The landowner (me) gives permission to enter the property. You can park next to CR3040 anywhere between the big trees and the driveway or in the driveway if needed. The best trail entrance is in that area. Thanks

This is the first in a series that will be dedicated to an interesting tree. The bois d'arc, osage orange, horse apple, etc. Fun Facts: They say that the fruit can be used as a pesticide or bug repeler, The Bonham County Courthouse is built on a foundation of logs from these trees, Many American Indians used the wood to make bows and clubs as well as a yellow dye. There are lots of goodies in the ammo can including several TBs we picked up on a recent trip. You may see wildlife on the property. Let us know if you do. Some of the trees may have eyes. If you get lost beg the landowner for assistance. They may laugh at you for not finding it but a cold drink and assistance is available if they are home. A disposable camera is in the box so take a picture and leave it in place.

Congrats to Magnskeet for FTF.
