Tas atrodas Balvu novadā uz P35 šosejas, kur līdz pat Litenes pagastam šosejas malas klāj bieza koku audze. Savukārt pati Sita upe, virs kuras atrodas tilts, kalpo kā robežupe starp Vidzemes un Latgales novadiem. Geocaching is a game in which the treasures of the world are sought with the help of GPS equipment, and Latvian bridges are a key part of this chest of riches. These are strategically important structures that link two sides of a river and require ongoing oversight and maintenance. Without bridges we would be limited in time, space and opportunities. Sadly, many of our bridges are crumbling, rusting and becoming deformed. Make sure that you look at these bridges before they have collapsed! The bridge over the Sita River, the Gulbene-Balvi road. The bridge over the Sita River is a cement bridge with cement railings. It is in the Balvi Administrative District on the P35 highway, with both sides of the road thickly forested all the way to the Litene Parish. The Sita River that is spanned by the bridge is on the border between Vidzeme and Latgale.
