This cache is located near Mt. Roosevelt outside of Deadwood. The Mt. Roosevelt monument was built by Seth Bullock to honor his friend President Roosevelt.
On a clear day you can see the corner of Teddy Roosevelt's ranch near Medora, ND. According to the sign you can see 4 states from this location, SD, WY, MT, ND.First go to the monument tower and enjoy the view. The trail is very well kept and clear of debri. The last 50-100 yards is very rocky. Having a compass could help you locate this cache.
The cache is hidden under a rock, but it is possible to see parts of it from the area near it if you know where to look.
