Geocache Description:

The Angry Professor

He is angry!

Professor Smith was a nuisance. Since he started his visiting professorship in Malta, he seemed to get more and more upset. His wrath reemerged at every opportunity, and the students were rather irritated. "I am tired of all the screaming during the biology lesson" said Brian, a student, to Emily, who excelled normally at every subject. "The way to a happy professor goes through his stomach", answered Emily. "I have a recipe for a fantastic meat loaf I've made last week. And my banoffi, veru tajjeb!" "I don't need proof, I've tasted both of them", answered Brian. "He will apologize roughly a dozen seconds after he has tried them!"

Their friend Albert, wondering what this was all about and having expressed his disgust before, hurried with re-expressing his reservations: "He is such a grumpy guy and you want to feed him?" "Shall we freeze roughly every few minutes during his lessons or shall we work on improvement?" asked Emily, and finally all agreed and started working on a plan.

From this moment on, they discussed on every occasion how they should convince Professor Smith to join them at home for a dinner.  "I have a good info: Urban environments are not his favourites. Let's get rural! Don't your parents live in a converted farmhouse, Albert?" "Yes, and I think it will be great! Wonders shall happen there!"

They had a cunning plan in place when at lunch time they went to the cafeteria. They knew that he was buying some junk food there regularly, and they caught him with chocolate bars even sticking out of his pocket. "Prof. Smith! This is nothing you should consume regularly! Didn't your mother teach you about good food?" Emily asked him with a broad smile. "Yes, but firstly this is not your business and secondly - you might be right. I never find the time to cook properly, as I am working on the description of the fifth re-evolving European bison, and to eat out every day is somewhat boring, perhaps even depressing. At the IGH, the Institute of Human Genetics, where I will work again after my time in Malta, I basically lived off the tuck shop, and here it is not better."

This was Emily's moment. "Professor, why don't you join us for a meal at Albert's house? I will be cooking and you shall not be disappointed!"  "Well, why not. Perhaps this will distract me a bit of every day's problems."

Dinner on a warm summer night

They spent a great evening together on a lovely summer night, the food and mood were great and it was the beginning of a good and fruitful relationship between the professor and his students.

"You see, a meat loaf and a banoffi pie can make all the difference!" Emily exclaimed at the end of the semester when they waved goodbye to the professor.

Friends wave good bye

But the big question remains: Where is the cache?
