The last time I visited here, the area was alive with screams of joy as children and adults alike would slip and slide over the many smaller drops of the falls. The last drop was too high to slide over but the waterhole beneath it was still great for swimming and showering under the cool falling water.
Today all that is left is a ghost falls. A few stagnant pools and dry rocks that have been stained with the evidence of the once great water flow. If it wasn't for the sounds of the nearby freeway you might still be able to hear the ghostly echoes of the past and phantom water spilling over the tops of the cliffs.
If someone knows the circumstances of why the area's water has been cut off please let us know.
The cache is of standard size and is well hidden in rock not vegetation. It contains our most prized travel bug. Kokopelli. Please take care with him, take a few photos, and place him thoughtfully in another cache.
We challenge you to find The Ghost Falls Stash.
