The title of this cache comes from a caching trip that I recently went on with Sleepy Cat and Dustymax. We have always joked that whenever someone goofs up on something, we are going to send that person to Mars. The day before this was hidden, we had decided to go tackle a couple of caches that were in the general area, including a 4.0/4.5. It was said that whoever came up with the idea to go for that cache on a day where it was 80+ degrees outside was going to be sent to Mars.
This is a nice walk in River Road Park, one of the newer Lake Metroparks. There is only parking for 5 cars here, please do not park illegally. Park hours from 6am-11pm. Night caching is possible, but not recommended. Cache is placed with permission of Lake Metroparks.
