Geocache Description:

Hatch Point was donated to the Town of Phippsburg by Richard Hatch in 2007 and is mantained by the Phippsburg Sportsman's Association.

It is a spit of land located on the east side of Route 209 (Main Road) along Center Pond. If heading south it is within 1/2 mile of the Route 209/Parker Head Intersection (if you get to the school and fire station you have gone to far). There are no signs.

The point has a picnic table as well as an area to launch kayaks and canoes into Center Pond. Blue herons, turtles, ducks, ospreys and eagles are abundant. It is easy walking and is a popular spot to fish from during all seasons. No overnight parking is allowed.

The cache is a small camo lock n lock.
