Woluwe - Hof Kleinenberg Multi-cache

You can easily park your car at coordinates N 50° 51.720 E 004° 26.530.

This walk will bring you on sometimes very old paths as can be seen on the “Ferraris” map of 1777 (cfr an abstract in the listing). The farm that gave the name to this multi is also referenced on that map. Binoculars might be helpfull for WP7 if your eyes are'nt that good anymore.

At WP1 (N 50° 51.744 E 004° 26.525), look for a metallic tag (stay on the bridge !). WP2 is a micro-cache placed at the foot of a sitting tree. This waypoint should bring you without problems to WP3 to search there for a metallic tag.
Note: During the summer, the stretch between WP3 and WP4 could turn out narrow for strollers due to the vegetation.

At WP4 look for a box with a number in the form of Dxxx and 01Ayy.yy. You will be able to define the following values: “xxx”=DEF et “yy.yy”=GHIJ.

At WP5 (N 50° 51.699 E 004° 26.928), you will see that the 5 houses alongside this street are decorated with animals sculptures. The same animal occurs several time. Only one occurs once. The number of that house will give you KL.

WP6 (N 50° 51.533 E 004° 26.749) will lead you to the old farm « Hof Kleinenberg » (already mentioned on the “Ferraris” map of 1777). It has been recently re fitted as an international school. Look for a tag for the value of MN.

Get then to WP7 (50° 51.EKD - 004° 26.LF1), where you will count the number of visible masts on the top of the large building situated at an azimut of 143° and a distance of 1250 m from this WP. This will yield the value of P.

With all these informations, go to the cache location at N 50° 5A.H(L+J)B – E 004° 2(P-M).D(P-J)C. You're searching a buried amobox.
Don't draw attention on you while searching the stash.

Une promenade de 2.5 km à travers quelques restes de nature dans la vallée de la Woluwe en cours d'urbanisation.

Vous pouvez vous garer sans difficultés aux coordonnées N 50° 51.720 E 004° 26.530.

Cette promenade vous emmènera sur des chemins parfois fort anciens comme en témoigne la carte “Ferraris” de 1777 (voir l'extrait ci-joint). La ferme qui a donné le nom à cette multi y est déjà répertoriée. Des jumelles pourraient venir à point pour le WP7 si vos yeux ne sont plus ce qu'ils ont été.

Au WP1 (N 50° 51.744 E 004° 26.525), cherchez un tag métallique (restez sur le pont !). Le WP2 est une micro-cache placée au pied d'un arbre-fauteuil. Ce waypoint devrait vous mener sans problème au WP3 pour y chercher un tag métallique.
Note: En été, le tronçon entre le WP3 et le WP4 peut-être étroit pour le passage en poussette à cause de la végétation.

Au WP4 cherchez sur une boite un numéro sous la forme Dxxx et 01Ayy.yy. Vous pourrez ainsi déterminer les valeurs suivantes: “xxx”=DEF et “yy.yy”=GHIJ.

Au WP5 (N 50° 51.699 E 004° 26.928), vous remarquerez que les cinq maisons qui bordent cette rue sont décorées avec une sculpture représentant un animal. Le même animal est présent sur plusieurs maisons. Un seul animal n'apparait qu'une fois. Le numéro de cette maison donne KL.

Le WP6 (N 50° 51.533 E 004° 26.749) vous amènera à la vieille ferme « Hof Kleinenberg » (déjà répertoriée sur la carte « Ferraris » de 1777). Elle a été réaménagée récemment en école internationale. Cherchez un tag métallique pour trouver la valeur de MN.

Rendez vous ensuite au WP7 (50° 51.EKD - 004° 26.LF1), d'où vous compterez les mats visibles sur le grand bâtiment qui se situe à un azimut de 143° et à 1250 m de ce WP. Ce nombre vous donnera la valeur de P.

Avec toutes ces informations, rendez vous à la cache, aux coordonnées 50° 5A.H(L+J)B - 004° 2(P-M).D(P-J)C. Vous cherchez une boîte à munitions enterrée.
Soyez discret et n'attirez pas l'attention sur vous.

Een wandeling van 2.5 km in een stukje natuur dat overblijft na de urbanisatie van het Woluwedaal.

Deze wandeling brengt u op wegen die soms heel oud zijn zoals je op de “Ferraris” kaart van 1777 kan gezien (zie het uittreksel hierbij). De boerderij die de naam gegeven heeft aan deze multi is al op deze kaart aangeduid.

Bij WP1 (N 50° 51.744 E 004° 26.525), zoek je een metalen tag (blijf op de brug!). WP2 is een micro-cache aan de voet van een zitbank-boom. Deze waypoint zal je zonder moeite tot WP3 brengen om daar ook een metalen tag te zoeken.
Nota: In het zomer kan het stuk tussen WP3 en WP4 een beetje smal zijn voor de doorgang van een kinder buggy omwille van de vegetatie.

Bij WP4 zoek je een doos met een nummer onder de vorm Dxxx en 01Ayy.yy. Hiermee vorm je de volgende waardes: “xxx”=DEF en “yy.yy”=GHIJ.

Bij WP5 (N 50° 51.699 E 004° 26.928) zal u zeker merken dat op de vijf huizen langs die straat afbeeldingen met dieren bevatten. Het zelfde dier vind je op verschillende huizen. Maar één dier komt maar één keer voor. Het nummer van dit huis geeft KL.

WP6 (N 50° 51.533 E 004° 26.749) zal je tot aan het oude boerderij “Hof Kleinenberg” brengen. (boerderij die al op de “Ferraris” kaart van 1777 stond). Zoek een metalen tag voor de waarde van MN.

Ga dan tot WP7 (50° 51.EKD - 004° 26.LF1). Tel daar het aantal zichtbare masten op het groot gebouw dat zich op een azimut van 143° en een afstand van 1250 m van dit WP bevind. Dit cijfer geeft je de waarde van P.

Met al deze informaties kan je de cache zoeken die zich op N50° 5A.H(L+J)B -- E 004° 2(P-M).D(P-J)C bevindt (ingegraven munitiekist).
Wees discreet bij het loggen.
