This cache has been placed to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Geocaching
This "Challenge Cache" is a little different from most challenges; it could conceivably be someones first ever geocache find.... or at the very least their second!
Eligibility is based on having a well traveled trackable in your hand; it doesn't matter if you are a newbie or an experiencer cacher... which makes this one a little different!
Is There A Cache At The Posted Coordinates?
Maybe – but we’ll get to that a little later in the cache listing!
There have been many occasions where cachers have found a cache with a geocoin and joyfully put it in their pocket to move along…
They still leaving a poor lonely travel bug behind… undiscovered… and static.
In days gone by, most travel bugs enjoyed a plastic baggie and an info sheet indicating their identity and what they wanted to do in life.
Over time, the baggies were torn and the info sheets were lost.
Travel Bugs everywhere would like you to know their story.
Perhaps this challenge will encourage you to pick up the next trackable you encounter; no matter what it is…?
Even if it turns out that it isn’t eligible for this challenge cache… someone, somewhere will appreciate that you have
moved it along. With this as inspiration, I present to you the….
10 Years! 10,000km! A Trackable Challenge
Rules
In order to log this Challenge Cache, you must drop a trackable item that is “challenge eligible” into the cache when you go to sign the cache log!
What is a “Challenge Eligible” Trackable Item?
The item must be activated and trackable on geocaching.com
The trackable item must “truly” have travelled a distance in excess of 10,000km as seen on the trackable item page on geocaching.com.
What do you mean by “Truly”?
Taking the trackable you forgot about from the glovebox, dipping it in a cache 10,000km away and bringing it back
from the comfort of your couch will make it ineligible.
Other Rules!
Each log entry (i.e. "Find") must be accompanied by the drop of a unique trackable;
if three teams are "out caching" and find this cache.. the team that "drops the trackable" will have the eligible find!
You cannot drop off a trackable item that you own, or have owned in the past and adopted to someone else to complete this challenge.
Once a particular trackable item has been placed into the cache, that trackable item is no longer “challenge eligible”!
You cannot simply pick up a trackable item from the cache and “drop” it back in!
You cannot “dip” a trackable item in the cache in order to complete this challenge.
Grabbing and dropping an item that is obviously not “intended” to be left in a cache (e.g. a vehicular travel bug) isn’t practical; the trackable items must be physically left in the ammo can for the next player in order to be “challenge eligible”.
The cache is just down the road; yeah, I’ll check....

I Don’t Have An Item That Is Challenge Eligible - What If I Just Want To Use This As A Travel Bug Hotel?
If you wish to stop by and drop/pickup items from this cache and log a note, feel free to do so!
Showing up and signing the log book ahead of time won’t save you a trip;
you’ll have to go there anyway when you do have a “challenge eligible” item to drop off!
If you drop a trackable item in to the cache that has not traveled in excess of 10,000km and you log a “Find”.. your log will be deleted.
Incidentally, our friends across the border might appreciate me confirming
that eligibility is obviously offered to trackable items that have "truly" traveled in excess of 6,214 miles;
"10 Years! 6,214 miles!" just didn't roll off the tongue as well....
Feel free to include the info regarding the specific trackable you are using to complete this challenge however please do NOT post the trackable number in your logs!
I was originally going to call this cache "Cuddle Nook"... stealth shouldn't be required!
