Ninase rannakaitsepatarei nr 317 koosnes neljast ühetorulistes soomustornides MO-1-180 paiknevast 180-millimeetrisest suurtükist (IV-180). Patarei suurtükkide laskekaugus oli 45 kilomeetrit, laskekiirus 5 lasku minutis. 20. septembril 1941 piirati patarei sakslaste poolt ümber, osal meeskonnast õnnestus välja murda, kaks suurtükialust lasti õhku, kaks jäi terveks.

Ninas Coast Guard Battery No. 317 consisted of four 180 mm cannons (IV-180) located in single-tube armored towers MO-1-180. The shooting distance of the battery cannons was 45 kilometers, the firing speed was 5 shots per minute.
On September 20, 1941, the battery was surrounded by the Germans, part of the crew managed to break out, two artillery ships were blown up, two remained intact.
