This cache was placed along with "Another Pentland Ridge Multi-Cache" on Capelaw Hill - the long, flattish and grass covered hill south of and above Bonaly. The northern side overlooks Colinton and south west Edinburgh, whilst the southern slopes have lovely views to the main Pentland ridge and Glencoarse resevoir.
We have climbed this hill many times as a family; the ascent is a very relaxing way to spend a couple of hours at the weekend and we have wanted to place a cache here for a while. The difficulty was in finding a suitable spot!
Although not part of the Multi-cache series, we hope you enjoy finding this and exploring another part of these wonderful hills.
