Pronounced /zərk-sēz/, Xerxes became known in history as Xerxes the Great. In 456 B.C., when he was about 36 years old, Xerxes succeeded his father as the king of Prussia. His accession of royal power was not challenged and his empire stretched from India to Egypt and through parts of Europe.
You always need an X-tra geocache, so this one is for you.
Use the public entrance and proceed towards the boat ramp, picnic pavilion, and public parking area. Rules are posted at the entrance and beside the boat ramp. Fishing, swimming, and alcohol are NOT permitted but you will enjoy the scenery and a bison. Daylight caching is recommended. This geocache has been placed in memory of my father who would have been 105 today! .
