You've heard the legends, you've seen the pictures, maybe you've visited but haven't got here in time to sample the cuisine. Here's your chance! Come to Moonshine, Illinois on September 29th from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. But get there before 12:30, or there's no Moonburger for YOU!

Moonshine, population 2, is one of the busiest little towns in Illinois. Six days a week the Moonshine store serves an average of 140 hamburgers. Come and get your very own moonburger and share the morning with some other cachers!

And with over 40 caches within 10 miles of Moonshine, you'll definitely want to make a day of your visit!

Then, later that afternoon, join us at ZBQ's house for S'more Meet and Meat and Greet(with Marshmallows)!!!

I've had a cache at Moonshine for five years. Many distant visitors have lamented that even though they found the cache they weren't able to get here in time for lunch. On September 29th we'll make the trip worth your while with a Meet n' Greet and maybe a few extras (to be announced later).

Just a few notes about your visit to Moonshine:

1. Cash is king at Moonshine. If you want a burger or a souvenir, they don't take credit cards.
2. Public restrooms are available at Moonshine. They're across the road just to the side of the parking lot. Enjoy your visit to Sitty Hall.
3. If you've ever told your kids or grandkids about those amazing little general stores that used to exist, you'll want to bring them to Moonshine so they can see what they're really like.
