We updated the box in 2023. Also the tree has fallen and been cut, and the island earth has lifted a bit since original placement so coordinates may be a little off, but it should still be in same general area, protected from both falling in the water or getting dislodged in the snow or ice. Please place it back as closely to as found as possible. Thanks for coming!
The island has a single tree that has fallen as of July 2021, and the tree was cut down as of Summer 2023. So it is more like "Half Tree Island" now. This tiny island is accessible only by kayak or canoe or swimming. It may or may not be accessible in winter via skis or snowshoes...let us know if you attempt it and are successful!
