This trailhead provides a shortcut to Pollys Crossing, a major snowmobile intersection on the Rail Trail and shorter access to caches located in this area.
This trail is well snowmobiled in the winter and leads in about 1/2 mile to the Rail Trail. This route provides shorter access to Central NH Railway Progressive Challenge caches #11, #12, #13, #14 and beyond. The trail goes downhill most of the way to the Rail Trail so you will be walking uphill most of the way back. You are looking for a camoed pill bottle near the start of the trail on Route 16. There is plowed parking for a few cars at the trailhead.
