This is the cache Travel Tags in the Pirate Race 2022 are trying to get back to:
Avast you dogs n' scoundrels take heed and gather round… Our PM treasure has been stolen and taken to the other side of the world, to the home of the Kangaroos and the Koalas!
Trackables purchased will be sent to the other side of the world FOC as early as possible in 2022 and placed in a cache or Mega event in Australia.
All Trackables will be racing back to THIS Geocacache in the UK.
The WINNERS will be deeemed to be 1st Tag to return to this cache by Midday Friday 22nd July 2022. If no Tags have made it to this cache by this specified date, prizes will awarded by the nearest to this cache in a line measured as the crow flies.
Any Tags held by a Caching Team at the close of the race will be measured from the cache where "The Trackable" was last retrieve (and not where the trackable is currently)
The race will be monitored from Pirate HQ.
Race rules:
#1 Purchasers will be responsible for activating the Tags before the start of the race.
#2 Trackables must be DROPPED and RETRIEVED from a minimum of 3 Geocaches. All RETRIEVALS must be made by a separate Geocaching Team.
#3 Any skulduggery or underhand cheating WILL NOT be tolerated.
#4 Any judgment on game play made by the Piratemania Crew IS FINAL
#5 You may enter as many times as you wish
Prizes will be award for the closest or NEAREST to the nominated & specified cache.
