COORDINATES ABOVE ARE NOT FOR THIS OR ANY OF THE 8 LEGS IN THIS SERIES. Those
coordinates do NOT figure into the puzzle for finding the
actual cache coordinates. Instead, you will have to do a
little decrypticing in order to find the coordinates for each
cache.
The EAST 4040 CRYPTIC CHALLENGE will take you to some of my
favorite spots. You will excercise, your legs, lungs, and MIND to
complete the task. Are YOU up to it?

in November 2007 Adjusted the Factor #1 for North to get you .003 of a
minute closer to your desired spot. (It was -8.550)
The above coordinates are just a good starting/reference point and
are within 2 miles of the cache. For each cache in E4040CC, you
will need to add two factors to get the CORRECT coordinates. In
each case, one will be here on the web page as shown below for
Factor #1 and will always be a number of minutes (portions of a
degree) which will be added to Factor #2 to come up with the final
coordinates. Factor #2 will have to come from clues and puzzles
along the way.
For this 2nd cache use:
Factor #1 -8.547' North & +7.023 West
Factor #2 for In The Stacks Cache must be derived from a puzzle in
the "Little Book of Clues" you will find in the first cache in this
series. To the puzzle answers add/subtract the factor #1 and you'll
know just where to go.
Parking is not a problem for this mysterious virtual cache. You
can get within 100 feet easy and approach from either the north or
the south.
You will have to look about for information that will be essential
in getting you to the next cache and beyond. Be very careful
copying information. An error could lead you on a wild goose
chase.
