A Sunday lunch event.

April 8. Noon-1PM

Up to 10 souvenirs (representing the eight planets, Pluto and a meta souvenir) are available from March 19 to April 8 as part of the 'Planetary Pursuit' promotion by Groundspeak. Basically, you need to find 100 caches during that three week period to qualify for all 10 souvenirs. Harder caches (multicaches, letterboxes, unknowns and earth caches) count double or even triple. Also, events count triple, so just by attending this event you will actually qualify for the first TWO souvenirs (if you don't already have them)! If you are still trying to rack up points on the last day of the promotion, this event is not a time-efficient way to reach your goal, but if you just want to pick up 15 points (or more if you drop trackables) while telling/hearing geocaching stories and/or enjoying some pizza, this event is for you!

The event will be held at Round Table Pizza (1717 Fremont Blvd) in Seaside beginning at noon on Sunday, April 8 and will continue until 1PM. If you plan to eat, a lunch buffet is available or you can order a pizza off the usual menu.

We do plan to give away a Planetary Pursuit trackable to whichever attendee (excluding the event owner and family) has the most Planetary Pursuit points at the time of the prize drawing, so make sure you have all your caches and trackables logged before the event! (In case of a tie, we'll choose a winner randomly from the tied attendees).

Note that this event is open to all geocachers. You don't need to have participated in the Planetary Pursuit souvenir promotion to attend, but just by attending you will qualify for the Earth and Venus souvenirs (if you haven't already done so)!
