DINNER CREEK (Harris County). Dinner Creek rises a mile north of Settlers Village in northwest Harris County and runs southeast for four miles to its mouth on Langham Creek. It traverses flat to rolling terrain with local escarpments and dissections, surfaced by shallow to deep sandy and clay loams that support native vegetation including mixed hardwoods and pines. In developed areas this vegetation has been replaced by cultivated row and cover crops.
