Come join
the Florida Geocaching
Association for a weekend of finds, fellowship and food at the
McGregor Smith Scout Reservation. The event site is
conveniently located on SR 44, 6 miles East of Inverness, and just
a few miles west of the Leesburg exit of I-75 near the junction
with the Florida Turnpike.
We'll start
with breakfast at 8:00 AM - FGA will set out coffee, juice and
donuts - and provide information on the rest of the day's
opportunities and activities then. Your FGA Board Members are going
to make sure that everyone can have a very
Busy Day.
The Scouts
do charge a nominal fee for the use of the facility. If you are
attending only this event the cost is $3 per person. If you are
camping for the weekend or plan on attending all of the events, the
cost is $5 per person. Campsites will be available after 6 P.M. on
Friday. See the
FGA website for information on how to reserve a campsite and
make payments through PayPal.
There will
be a travel bug and Geocoin trading table so bring your travelers
so they can be traded. If you have a personal collections and want
to share, please bring them too!
We'll have
dinner around 6. FGA will provide the main course plus plates,
napkins, plastic wear, condiments, ice, coolers and drinks. We ask
that everyone attending this event please bring a dish to share.

Electrical
outlets are available at the main pavillion and in the campsites.
We have reserved the kitchen for the day so if you need to keep any
foods refrigerated or have something that needs heating just ask
one of the FGA Reps.
