Shoreline Park in Mountain View has a wonderful kite flying area. I
bring the kids here whenever they feel like flying a kite. Out here
by the bay, the wind is likely to be good enough for flying on most
days.
The cache is a peanut butter container containing a log, pen,
and some trade items. It isn't hidden on the kite flying field
itself, as there wasn't a good spot for anything larger than a film
canister out there. It was hard to get good coordinates (that's a
hint), so you may have to search around a bit. If you have better
coordinates, please post 'em and I'll adjust the listing.
Shoreline Park is open from dawn to dusk. If there's a concert
at Shoreline Amphitheater, you may have trouble getting here, and
you may find it way too busy to search even if you do get here.
