Geocache Description:

This is a very popular hiking trail. Height gain is 500 feet over 1.3 miles. A beautiful, restful spot. Enjoy the views.

Park in the parking lot at N51 04.883 W 115 23.639 and follow the trail. In late fall to early spring take the logging road all the way. During the other months you have the option of taking the trail that branches off to the left shortly after you get started. Do that if you want some better views, but a bit more strenuous walk. When you get close to cache you will be able to sit and think about what Heather might have thought of geocaching. If you listen carefully you might even hear Tom Jones singing his old favourite over the gurgling sounds of a nearby creek. The cache is a Costco nut jar which initially contained a magnetic Solitaire game, a Proclaimers tape, a mini leather note pad, and a pad and pencils to record your visit. It is hidden under some rocks at the base of a small tree.
