The Seven Stars is a traditional pub set in a beautiful village. It has been suggested that, as the pub has always been surrounded by agricultural country, the name symbolizes the seven stars of The Plough. Others say it’s because the Spire in the village rises above the Stars. The pub dates back to the 1850’sand still retains it’s inglenook fire which is always lit on cold winter nights. They serve cask ales and very reasonable bar meals. There are a few tables outside for sitting on warm summer nights. There is a no smoking restaurant. A lovely pub in a lovely village.
