Parking: Suggested parking is in the car park at the provided coords, there is a footbridge to take you over to Horsbere. Or if there is space you can park by the gates leading in to the brook (alternative parking).
Where: Meet us on the mound (published coords)
What: Join us a we look after the trees we have planted over the past couple of years. There are lots of little jobs including: weeding, mulching (so bring a bucket), hammering back in stakes (so bring a lump hammer) and making sure the deer guards are secure (and not upside down!).
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and tools if necessary. Please ensure you log your will attend so that the ranger knows how much equipment to bring with them.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under their instruction.
We ask you to bring your own gloves and where appropriate tools, so if you have a hammer and bucket then please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
