This cache is dedicated to all of the young men and women past, present and future that take this Latin quote to heart every day.
The idea for this cache came to me when I recieved my Father's day gift from my Son and Daugher-in-law that are currently stationed in San Diego, Ca. in the greatest NAVY in the world. My son sent me a small notebook/binder like the one he carries with him. Inside this notebook/binder he hand wrote his Father's day card to me and told me of how much respect he had for me and showed me how much respect for him that I have. the last lines he wrote in this card had the Latin phrase that is the name of this cache.
I am placing this nearby to the place that this journey in life all started for my son and daughter-in-law. Inside I have added some bumper stickers and window clings from the nearby Offices. Take one if you will and enjoy, that is why I asked the nearby Offices for these to put into the Cache. I like most people took for granted the job that these young men and women do everyday until my son became one of them. Now I understand just exactly what it means to serve your country without ever serving myself. I have found myself going out of my way to thank a young man or woman for their service. A small token of my appreciation, but as I have found one that is truely appreciated by these young men and women.
