Slieksnis izskalots visā tā garumā, nav vairs arī lejas bjefa nostiprinājumu.
Tā kā aizvaru nav (ir tikai daļēji saglabājusies paša sliekšņa dēļu rievsiena), dzirnavezera platība no kādreizējiem 5 ha samazinājusies līdz 2 ha, kas vasarā galvenokārt sastādās no paplašinātās upes gultnes.
