Located in the Mt Apatite Recreational area off Garfield Road in
Auburn.
For all you rock hounds out there, here is a cache for you! The
trail to Mt Apatite starts at N44-05.093, W 070-16.950. The area
was once mined for gem stones and now has lots of cool trails for
cross country skiing and mountain biking. The quarries are
interesting and there is nice view of Auburn from the top of the
rock pile.
