The cache is in the desert, a short walk from the
Pyramids. Be careful that no one sees you retrieving the cache. Also be
aware that animals sometimes hide in cool, dark places, such as where this
cache is hidden.
This is my first cache, placed while I was on vacation
in Egypt. The easiest way to get there is take a taxi to the pyramids and
walk from there. Its a short walk, but long enough to get you out of view
of everyone. The view is horizon to horizon, so reception is excellent.
Terrain is slightly hilly packed sand. Keep an eye out for rocks that
have had cross sections exposed by the continually blowing sand. The
cache container is a tupperware. One of the items in the cache is a
camera - please take a picture and put it back. Instructions are enclosed
if you're the last one.
3/7/2002 - It's been more than a year now, so if it's possible, could the next visitor please retrieve the camera and send it to me? My address should be in the cache. I'll cover the cost. If you want to put a new camera in there, that's cool, but not necessary. Many thanks to all the visitors so far, it's been fun to read the reports!
