Time 9am to 10am...You can stay longer if you like!
During the event you can choose your preferred areas of cleaning but be prepared. There are flat areas, creek beds, rock piles and very steep embankments not to mention the river bank. The American River Parkway Foundation will provide the trash bags and final trash removal. All we need to do is collect the junk and get it to the parking lot.
In exchange for your hard work you may claim a FTF for the event
I'm trying to get passes for the day to the area, I will update when I have further info
Waivers: All participants must complete an waver to participate
Please wear long sleeves, closed toe shoes/boots, and long pants, bring your own gloves, grabbers, etc
Don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, water and snacks
There are quite a few newer caches in the area also
There is Poison Oak along the Parkway as well as Rattlesnakes
Dogs are allowed but must be on leashes, kids are welcome but please keep an eye on them as there are hazards around, such as steep drop offs.
