Also, behave appropriately - it is due to the kindness of the staff working here that it was possible to place this geocache. I would be very disappointed if geocachers would not appreciate this fact.

The City of Leicester
By now everyone should be aware of the spectacular discovery and reinterment of King Richard III in Leicester. But Leicester has much more to offer! From the Iron Age onwards humans settled in this area. The Jewry Wall is the most impressive piece of archaeology left behind by the Romans, while the Saxons and Vikings were especially active in the Highcross area. Leicester's castle is evidence of Norman and Medieval Leicester and believe me - there is so much more to discover!
THIS is the perfect place to start, no matter whether you are visiting from elsewhere or are from the local area! Leicester is filled with history and I am encouraging every single one of you to go and discover what it holds for you! Grab some information and off you go - it's worth it!!!
