The Roman Catholic Church replaced a wooden hut of 1948 by the (somewhat innovative) church built in 1967.
Opened in 1967 the church was one of the first churches in the diocese to be planned according to the new liturgical requirements with a freestanding altar.
Seating is arranged radially with a capacity of 200. A church hall is provided under part of the main building. There is a car park at the rear of the church.
