El mirador, estado en 1.320 m altura en la loma central de la isla, ofrece una vista en la dirección de Santa Cruz y el Teide de Tenerife. Hay aparcamientos. El suelo está llano para tripodes. Un indicador señala en la estrella polar y una tabla de información expliqua como encuentra la constelación de Orion. Este Mirador se tiene que alcanzar sobre la carretera LP 301, sigue sobre la cresta de de Santa Cruz de la Palma a El Paso. Llano de Las Ventas está en el lado del este de la isla, en Breña Alta y está rodeado de vegetación abundante.

Der Aussichtspunkt, in 1.320 m Höhe auf dem zentralen Bergrücken der Insel gelegen, bietet einen herrlichen Blick in Richtung Santa Cruz und den Teide auf Teneriffa. Eine Informationstafel erklärt, wie Sie das Sternbild Orion finden. Sie erreichen den Mirador über die Landstraße LP 301, die über den Grat von Santa Cruz de la Palma nach El Paso führt. Llano de Las Ventas, umgeben von üppiger Vegetation, liegt auf der östlichen Seite der Insel in Breña Alta.

The viewpoint, located at 1,320 m altitude on the central ridge of the island, offers a magnificent view towards Santa Cruz and Mount Teide in Tenerife. There are sufficient parking spaces available. The floor is flat and is suitable for a tripod. A sign pointing to the North Star. An information sheet explains how to find the constellation Orion. The Mirador is accessible from the highway LP 301, which crosses the ridge of Santa Cruz de la Palma and El Paso. Llano de Las Ventas is on the eastern side of the island, in Brena Alta, and is surrounded by lush vegetation.
