This cache is located above the southern cliffs of Snoqualmie
Falls. To get there you'll have to consult your topo maps and
choose a route that makes sense to you. My route involved some
leisurely strolling mixed with steep bushwhacking.
Snoqualmie Falls is a 268 ft waterfall on the Snoqualmie River
between Snoqualmie and Fall City, Washington, USA. It is one of
Washington's most popular scenic attractions, but is perhaps best
known internationally for its appearance in the cult television
series Twin Peaks. More than 1.5 million visitors come to the Falls
every year, where there is a two acre park, an observation deck,
and a gift shop.
However, if you're with those 1.5 million people you're on the
wrong side of the falls for this cache. You can't get there by
walking the railroad line from Snoqualmie Parkway nor can you take
the nearest road as it's private. You don't need to trespass to get
this cache, so don't do it. Once you're there, be careful of the
cliffs and enjoy the view - it's one very few people get to see of
the falls. You're looking for an ammo can.
