What better activity for Scouts than Geoaching? As Cub Scouts, we "Do Our Best", respect nature, honor the Outdoor Code, and try to leave the world cleaner than we found it -- just like Geocachers! I wanted to introduce the Scouts to Geocaching by hiding their first cache. This is a small, traditional lockbox cache (courtesty of the Geocaching store) located where 3 trails converge in Nancy Moore Park.
A few goodies are in here, so take and leave if you like. We'll be checking on the cache throughout the Scout year -- digitally and otherwise. Cache contains waterproof logbok and a pencil (or at least the pencil was there when we left it!). Enjoy our cache as you see the beauty of Nancy Moore Park, and we hope you all Do Your Best in all you do!
Were you a Scout? Any Scout: Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Girl Scout, or Venture/Explorer? In the log, feel free to add that to your message. These Cubs are just starting their Scouting Journey, and don't yet know that we Scouts are everywhere!
