Ten years ago I would have been upset, but in my advancing age I've learned to roll with whatever life hands you. It was fun. We'll try again next year. Thanks to all who were willing to brave the rain but enjoyed a great breakfast instead. [:)]

Geocache Description:

Come one, come all to Topeka's FIFTH ANNUAL CITO event!

When: Saturday, April 29, 2017
What: Trash/litter clean up
Time: 10:30 am to 11:30 am
Where: Trash bags and water will be provided at the posted coordinates.
What to bring: Your work or caching gloves and a pointy stick or grabber

We will be meeting at the posted coordinates to accomplish our mission: cleaning up the public access area to the Kansas River.

My GPSr tried to get me to swim across the river to the posted coordinates and refused to route me there. Take the Lower Silver Lake Road exit off Highway 75 and head east on Lower Silver Lake Road. Turn south onto Saline and head to the posted coordinates for the entrance to the event area. From there you can make your way to the event. I hope to see you there!
