A short quarter mile walk to the cache, just follow the path.
The cache is a short walk from the information board for Heavenfield battle site. There is parking here 55.01.148, 002.06.026 and this is the safest place to stop.The cache is a few yards from the Hadrians Wall Path and we have placed this cache in anticipation of a visit from a couple of American cachers walking the trail.It is worth making a short detour to the church in the field and if it is clear there are good views from here to the north.
