Agios Georgios Byzantine Church is situated 7 km to the west of Agia Galini or 7 km to the south of Melambes village. There are road signs showing the correct direction.
It’s a small old church that year after year started leaning on one side, so that it had to be renovated and supported. Unfortunately it is usually locked.
In the area there are nice beaches mostly protected from strong northern winds. The view over the whole bay is also nice.
You can park your car at the side of the main road and walk up the short cement road to the church.
The cache is a plastic container wrapped in a plastic bag. It contains a logbook, a pen, the geocaching note in Greek and English and some goodies to trade.
