Geocache Description:

Lets get together and clean up a little bit of Northern Nevada History

Most people in Carson City don't realize there was a small pioneer town named Empire just east of Carson. Empire, Nevada was a milling town, where large steam driven stamping mills used Carson River water to help break down Virginia City ore so the silver and gold could be removed. Just to the Northeast of the small pioneer town, on small hill, sits the all but forgotten Empire City Cemetery.

Lets get together and clean out the accumilated trash that has been collecting in the brush throughout this hidden little cemetery.

When: Saturday, September 23rd at 9:00am

Where: 5480 Morgan Mill Road (Follow the signs off Brunswick Canyon Rd. around the Waste Management Facility)
