An amazing view of the Hudson river and the surrounding area.
I believe this is one of the finer points on the whole ridge system, with the tower and the reservoir in front of you, the catskills looming on the northwest horizon and the stunning view south over the length of the ridge to the Hudson, the spires of Manhattan dimly peeking up over a bend in the river. This can be a blustery spot when the wind blows out of the north. It can be reached from the yellow trail, I wouldn't advise bushwacking here because of the thick scrub. You are looking for a 30 cal ammo can with lots of good stuff.
