Time for a BBQ!! Burgers, hotdogs, buns, and the fixins for those will be provided. Bring a side or dessert to share, or just an attitude for a good time. Please post a 'Will Attend' so we can make sure to have enough food for everyone. All are welcome for this event, and the others available throughout the weekend. Join us for a half hour, an hour, the entire weekend, whatever time you have. There are many activities to enjoy in the area this weekend and year round. Camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, atv riding (only on certain days), and caching.
Eklutna Lake Group Sites Description: We have reserved group site "B". 60 individuals are allowed with up to 20 vehicles. Site B contains 7 picnic tables and 7 fire rings; one latrine. Stay Limit: 12 noon on July 21st to 11 a.m. on July 23, 2017. Location: 45 minutes north of Anchorage. To Find It: From Glenn Highway, take Eklutna Exit at Mile 26. Turn toward mountains and follow park signs 10 miles up Eklutna Lake road to Eklutna campground and lake. Make a right on the first road past the fee booth.
