After a hard day of geocaching in and around Glenn Lake Park, head upstream for another.
This part of Glendale Avenue marks the end of the pre-WW2 homes of Glenwood Estates, and the homes built postwar. If you walk a little to the south, you'll see more architectural variety representative of a period when homes were designed by architects and with a bit more creativity and originality than the later ones. However, with the increasing property values older homes are torn down to make room for new, larger and more modern homes. So, as you walk about, an observant geocacher can see and discern three eras of home construction.
